Freight quote calculator for shipments from the EU
The calculator shows an indicative price as soon as you enter the collection place, delivery place and quantity. The dispatcher then e-mails a binding quote with a specific vehicle and date within 30 minutes during business hours. Please state the type of goods in the notes – it decides which vehicle we use.
What to enter for an accurate price
- Collection and delivery place – a town or postcode is enough. If goods are collected from several suppliers, list every address.
- Number and size of pallets – Euro pallet 120 × 80 cm, industrial pallet 120 × 100 cm; for odd-sized items, length, width and height.
- Weight – for tiles, stone and drinks it matters more than the pallet count.
- Type of goods – chilled food, wine, machinery or dangerous goods (ADR) need a different vehicle.
- Date – the day the goods will be ready at the supplier.
Why the calculator price is indicative
The final price depends on free capacity on the route that week, on the vehicle type and on loading conditions. A reefer, crane loading or a tail-lift truck is priced differently from a standard curtainsider. After you submit, the dispatcher checks the actual vehicle and sends a binding quote, which you confirm by replying to the e-mail.
